Plia Ward has spent over 20 years as a marketing consultant in Sydney and internationally, demonstrating a true passion for the role. From a career start working in marketing communication roles for blue chip companies, Plia was offered an opportunity to move into broadcasting and TV production for the South African Broadcasting Corporation. On moving to New Zealand, Plia became the Marketing Manager for an international business coaching franchise. Thus began 10 years as a marketing specialist in franchise marketing working for international franchises, both supporting the growth and direction of franchisors whilst assisting franchisees to grow their business. Since then Plia transitioned over to the agency side for a fresh perspective, specialising in medical marketing for Specialists, GPs and medical related businesses. Putting all that experience to good use, Plia established Westward Marketing in 2014 together with the support and expertise of fellow marketing specialists.
